Beautiful full lips are every woman's dream.
Lips can be enlarged to complement the other features of the face with various methods of enlargement being used. Lips can be enlarged in isolation to other procedures or as part of combined facial rejuvenation treatments. Our procedures are conducted as outpatient procedures with the following options available :
Lip Wrinkle Fillers Insertion
This synthetic, inert biocompatible material is carfully threaded into the lips. This is done under sedation and local anaesthesia. Minimal swelling takes place and will tend to subside within 3 to 10 days.
Lip Roll
This is a surgical procedure whereby the upper and/or lower lips can be enlarged by making and incision behind the lip hidden in the fold. This creates a uniform fullness to the entire upper or lower lips. Swelling can take up to 2 weeks to subside. Make up can be worn immediately. Microfat can be injected at the same time into the lip to get a more desirable result.
Microfat Injection to the Lip and Face
Lipo - transfer to the face is a procedure that can produce remarkable improvements in facial aging, utilizing a step by step technique. Long term results can be seen for up to 3-5 years.
Small volumes of fat transfer performed sequentially on 2 or 3 separate occasions at 4 to 5 month intervals have proven to be ideal for long term survival. Fine canulas are used to harvest the fine fat of approximately 3mm size, washed then transferred in multiple cylindrical tunnels to augment the shape of the recipient site e.g. lips, cheeks, chins, nose labial folds.
In many cases, fat transfer is the most suitable procedure used, to naturally recreate and rejuvenate the lips with greater volume and seamless appearance.
This procedure is conducted in-house, under sedation. A period of bruising is expected for around 7 days with this time needed for rest and break from work. You can expect the swelling to go down by 40% in a period of two weeks. The procedure is safe as your own fat is utilized.
Injectables
Injectables can also be used for injecting into the lips, however they last only for a short period of time and have to be repeatedly injected.
